总之，我们发现TTT治疗脉络膜黑色素瘤可以直接摧毁肿瘤组织，引起肿瘤细胞的坏死，及肿瘤基底部瘤细胞的凋亡，同时促进吞噬细胞侵入。但TTT激光治疗后可以引起光斑下方肿瘤组织毛细血管扩张，有可能会加重巩膜外转移，这一点应该引起重视。
