【Abstract】AIM:ToinvestigatetheexpressionofPTENproteininretinoblastomaanditsclinicalsignificance.METHODS:ExpressionofPTENproteinwasdetectedin36specimensofretinoblastomaand10specimensofnormalretinausingSPimmunohistochemistry.RESULTS:ThepositiverateofPTENprotein（21cases,58.3%）inretinoblastomawasmuchmorefrequentthanthatofnormalretina（0%,P=0.0000）andtheexpressionlevelofPTENvariedbetweenthepathologygrades（differentiated73.7%;undifferentiated41.2%,P<0.05）andamongtheclinicstages（stageⅠ75.0%;stageⅡ62.5%;stageⅢ41.7%,P<0.05）.Thehigherthepathologygradeandtheclinicalstageoftumors,thelowertheexpressionofPTENprotein.CONCLUSION:TheabnormalexpressionofPTENproteinmayplayanimportantroleinthedevelopmentofretinoblastoma.DetectionofPTENproteinmaybeusefulfortheassessmentofretinoblastomadevelopmentanditsprognosis.

【摘要】目的:探讨PTEN蛋白在视网膜母细胞瘤（RB）组织中的表达及临床意义.方法:采用免疫组化SP法观察36例RB和10例正常视网膜组织石蜡标本中PTEN的表达情况.结果:21例（58.3%）RB组织中PTEN蛋白表达阳性，与正常视网膜组织相比（0%）存在显著性差异（P=0.0000）.PTEN蛋白在分化和未分化RB组织中的表达率分别是73.7%和41.2%（P<0.05）；在Ⅰ，Ⅱ，Ⅲ期RB组织中的表达率分别是75.0%，62.5%和41.7%（P<0.05）.随肿瘤细胞病理分型、临床分期的增高,PTEN蛋白阳性表达率明显降低.结论:PTEN蛋白异常表达在RB的进展中有重要作用,检测PTEN的表达有助于判断病情与预后.
